College Student Lead Generation Made Simple

Every business relies on its customers and clients, but for small businesses like Sozo Creative, the relationship between us and our clients is even more important. Our clients rely on us to provide them with certain services, but we rely on them, too. Sometimes, as a way to show our appreciation, we like to post client reviews on our blog. Today our focus will be on College-Connecting.com.

College-Connecting is an information hub for all things related to secondary education. The site (as well as the more specialized sites for them which we’ve developed) is aimed at prospective and current college students, and its primary goal is simply to inform young people about their options after high school. They make it their mission to connect individuals with both local and online colleges and universities.

For example, on the site, students can get basic geographic and employment and educational information about every state in the country. College-Connecting’s goal in this is to help first year and transfer students who are thinking about moving to an unfamiliar state to determine if that state suits their individual needs, both personal and educational. Students can also research information about their field of interest to see what schools offer renowned programs in that field and what the job market looks like for graduates from those and similar programs.

When working with College-Connecting to design their main site, we realized that we would need to expand. College tips include a vast amount of information, and that much information simply cannot be contained in one single site. When helping to develop this client’s internet presence, we thought it would make for a better user experience if that information were more categorized. Therefore, College-Connecting also has several specialized sites. For example, BachelorDegreeNursing.com serves to help prospective nursing students. Young people interested in the nursing field can use this site to read program reviews from some of the top schools in the country, to learn more about their job options after college, and to read about some of the new developments in their field.

BusinessSchools.org is similar to BachelorDegreeNursing.com in that it is directed towards students who already have some idea of what they want to study in college. Students interested in studying business or attending a business school can use BusinessSchools.org to read reviews of some of the nation’s most popular business programs, as well as to learn about the business programs at less famous schools. This site aims to help students determine if a career in business is the right fit for them, and it also has information related to succeeding in the business world after college.

Finally, College-Connecting also has a number of general college advice websites. Visitors to College-Connecting’s CollegeGrantGuide.net, for example, will find tips on obtaining financial aid and saving money in college. Advice on filling out financial aid applications and being noticed in scholarship essays and contests fill the pages of this blog. The sites OnlineCollegesAdvice.com and UniversityOnlineDegree.com include college advice spanning a wide range of topics, including academic success, friends and relationships, studying abroad, getting a job, time management, choosing classes, and many other topics relevant to college students.

College-Connecting and its more specialized sites are truly information meccas. Whereas some college sites focus on humor or other aspects of college, College-Connecting takes a more informative approach and aims to help prepare young people for every facet of college life. The sites provide straightforward, no-nonsense information on the college experience, and they do so in a way that college students can appreciate and utilize.
